OUR HISTORY

Cambridge Bilingual Nursery and Primary School Bamenda-nkwen, Cameroon opened its doors in the school year of 2015/2016, with 47 pupils. With the great performance in the first year, this number doubled during the following school year enrollment.

We had our first badge of Primary school graduates (Class six in the school year of 2018/2019, consisting of 16 pupils. These pupils scored 100% in the Government Common Entrance (GCE) exam with all pupils making the List A (A grades in all subjects), as well as 100% in the First School Leaving Certification Exams. This flawless performance record in the Country’s public exams have been maintained in the years 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

The founders and partners on the board of directors are made of individuals from different career backgrounds and walks of life, including, but not limited to education, health care, information technology, religious/spiritual pathway, social background, to name a few. They vow to entrust the values learned in each of their career pathways upon the growing Cambridge family, hence enriching them with a variety of life’s values and lessons.

Combined with contributions from other compassionate individuals, the Cambridge partners are always striving to contribute their valuable time, money, ideas to help grow the endevours and aspirations of the Cambridge family. This growth is not just in the exam performance and outcomes, but also reflected in the pupils and staff numbers that keep growing every year, as well as the multiple innovative programs that are incorporated in the school curriculum.
